Summer Solstice Sessions at Jay Peak

Celebrate the start of summer at Jay Peak with a unique blend of winter and summer that is quintessentially Jay. Jay stockpiled snow at the end of the season and will be pushing out a terrain park to kick start summer before a live Battle of the Bands and music from Round Trip Band. Strider Races at Bolton Valley

June 13, July 4, July 20, August 16, and September 13

No pedals? No problem. Break out the balance bike and bring your kids up to Bolton Valley for a fun strider bike race through an obstacle course-style circuit. Color in your own number plate and then close out the race with a popsicle. You do not need to participate in all races in this series.

Disc Golf Intro Clinics at Sugarbush Resort

Always wanted to learn disc golf? Hit the links at Sugarbush for a free beginner disc golf clinic. Learn how to putt, how to grip the disc, work on your form, and how to put the skills together! This clinic is first-come, first-serve, register in advance to participate.

Head to Stratton for an outdoor movie experience and see Inside Out 2 on July 19 and Moana 2 on July 26. Grab a popcorn from the concession and enjoy a movie under the stars. 

SINGO at Magic Mountain

Can you name that tune? Head to the Black Line Tavern at Magic Mountain for SINGO, a fun game of musical bingo every Friday night this summer. 

Guided Naturalist Hikes at Mad River Glen

Last Saturday of the Month May-October

Hit the trail at Mad River Glen with a free guided naturalist hike. Explore the mountain’s diverse ecosystem and learn to spot signs of wildlife, listen for bird calls, or even find a bear tree! Registration is required, children must be at least 5 and accompanied by an adult. 

Northeast Junior Disc Golf Championship at Smugglers’ Notch

August 15-17

Do you have a disc golfer in your family? The 2025 US Junior Disc Golf Championship is taking place at Smugglers’ Notch. There will be three rounds of play open to boys and girls in divisions MJ/FJ08-MJ/FJ18. 

Spartan Race at Killington

September 13-14

Do you have a little Spartan in your life? The Spartan Race is headed back to Killington. Kids ages 4-14 can compete in a 1km, 1.5km, and 3km open race through the obstacle course or a 3km competitive circuit.
