
Smugglers’ Notch Resort is famous for providing families with special vacation memories year-round in Vermont’s beautiful Green Mountains. Winter means skiing and riding on three interconnected mountains on northern Vermont’s biggest vertical rise at 2,610 feet and 78 trails offering fun and excitement to all ability levels. Expert instruction for children and adults is provided by the Resort’s Snow Sport University in skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Full-day instruction for children in skiing and snowboarding begins at age 3.
Off the slopes, Winter activities include snow tubing; zip lining through a series of tree platforms on an exciting canopy tour; airboarding; snowmobiling; swimming in the indoor pool and enjoying the hot tub; craft and health and wellness classes; ice skating; and family games and climbing inflatables in the indoor FunZone. The resort’s fully certified child care center is open throughout the year for children from ages 6 weeks up to three years old, and offers an introduction to skiing for children 2 1/2 – 3 years old.
