Tips for Holiday Family Fun
✅ Check resort event calendars often: Most Vermont resorts add up-to-date holiday and après-ski event details leading into the holiday week.
✅ Mix it up: Pair your ski days with local village festivities. Find more activities at Vermont’s family site, findandgoseek.net.
✅ Bundle up: Vermont winter weather is beautiful — but cold! Layers, gloves, and hand warmers are a must.

Would love to check out one of these places!
So many amazing places to get the whole family in the mountain in Vermont! There is a special place in my heart for Smuggs but we are so lucky that all of these options are so close!
Great list! Now I can plan our holiday week. Is there a list of kid things to do in southern VT? Wilmington Dover area? Any season. Thanks!
There are so many activities to do. My kids would love each and every single one.
Our family will be watching the fireworks at Stratton!
We did a trip to Jay Peak over Christmas break and spent NYE there! Always a great, family friendly experience!
Love the Jay NYE fireworks!
This year should be a great one! We’ve started off with record breaking snowfall and I’m excited to go play like a kid again!
This is great! Love all these very helpful for planning with kids.
Thank you for compiling all of this holiday information in one place! It’s super helpful. I’m looking at options to take my daughter skiing and there’s good info here!
So much holiday fun for early season skiing!
Wish we lived closer to check out more resorts more frequently
