Northeast Slopes is a community ski area founded in 1936. It offers more than 30 acres of skiable terrain and three lifts. Its junior rope tow provides a gentle slope for beginners to learn. More advanced skiers can enjoy the high speed rope tow or the T-bar, which access everything from scenic groomers to gladed steeps. Tickets are excellent value at just $15, with discounts on 1/2 day Wednesdays ($10) as well as for the junior tow ($5/$2). There is a small snack bar with hot and cold locally sourced refreshments, as well as slopeside parking and fun events throughout the season. Open Wednesdays after 1:30 and all day Saturday and Sunday.
